The Kenya AIDS Vaccine Initiative (KAVI) - Institute of Clinical Research is a word-class research hub at the College of Health Sciences, University of Nairobi, spearheading research and training in global health.

KAVI - Institute of Clinical Research has conducted basic HIV, epidemiology research and eight HIV vaccine trials, ten basic science, and epidemiological research studies. KAVI - Institute of Clinical Research programs are geared to understanding the underlying determinants of good health for prevention of both communicable and non-communicable diseases are urgently needed.
